Death Investigation Silver Fall Park, July 3

On July 1, 2017 OSP responded to Silver Falls Park on a death investigation in Silverton, Marion County. Preliminary investigation revealed that the Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to reports of a deceased male subject in Silver Falls Park at the North Falls in Marion County. The deceased subject was later identified as Christian J. Jacobucci, age 20 of Woodburn. JACOBUCCI was located approximately a quarter of a mile down the trail. Emergency personnel confirmed that JACOBUCCI was deceased from a single gunshot wound. No foul play is suspected. JACOBUCCI was recovered by Drakes Crossing Search and Rescue.
