American Legion BB, July 3

North Coos Waterfront split an American Legion baseball doubleheader at the Roseburg Umpqua Lions Saturday.  The Lions won the opener 9-2, but the Waterfront took the nightcap 13-8 at Legion Field.  North Coos (7-7) is scheduled to host Brookings/Eureka Wednesday at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend.
