Klamath Co. Teacher Arrested, July 7

On May 23, 2017, Oregon State Police Klamath Falls Detectives were made aware of a sexual relationship between a school teacher at Lost River High school, Jeffrey Vincent (35 years old), and one of his former high school students (19 years old). The investigation revealed the relationship allegedly started when the former student was still attending the high school at Lost River, and the relationship had gone on for a significant period. The former student was reportedly 18 years of age when the sexual relationship started. The investigation developed enough information that a warrant was issued for Vincent’s arrest. On July 6, 2017, Vincent was taken into custody by Oregon State Police and lodged at the Klamath County Jail on two counts of Official Misconduct in the First Degree, two counts of Coercion, and one count of Tampering with a Witness. Vincent was placed on Administrative Leave by the Klamath County School District, pending the investigation.
