News release CFPA. Fire danger conditions have increased prompting Coos Forest Protective Association (CFPA) to impose a Level II (2) industrial closure for all private, county, state, and BLM lands within Fire Closure Zones CS-2 and SK-1. The closure will take effect at 12:01 AM July 28, 2017. This closure applies to all industrial operations working within CS-5 and SK-2. The Level II (Limited Shutdown) prohibits the operation of power saws; feller bunchers with rotary head saws; cable yarding; blasting; welding, cutting or grinding of metal between 1 PM and 8 PM.
