Shoplifter
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, July 25, 10:15 a.m., 2051 Newmark Ave., Walmart, “officer was flagged down by Security at Walmart on a possible shoplifter,” 30-year old Ashley Shoop referred to the DA’s Office for Theft III. “Merchandise was returned to store. Subject was permanently trespassed from Walmart.”
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, July 25, 8:39 p.m., Jackson & Vermont, “traffic stop (stolen vehicle out of CBPD”, 37-year old Eric A. Brandon, Coos Bay, arrested on Linn Co. warrant charging Endangering Welfare of Minor, also cited for DWS Violation and Failure to File SR22, additionally charged with UUV and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Driver will be referred to DA for Theft I, Fraud Use of Credit Card and ID Theft. “Passenger will be referred to DA for PCS, Possession of Forged Instrument, and ID Theft, passenger was released on scene.”
Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, July 25, 9:57 p.m., “CBPD served valid NBPD warrants” on 27-year old Brandon A. Lorenzi, North Bend, charging Probation Violation – Fleeing or Attempt Elude Officer, DUII, Reckless Endangering Another Person, and Reckless Driving. According to an entry on the CBPD log, 25-year old Kyle Campbell was also arrested on two CBPD warrants charging Failure to Appear on Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon & Carrying Concealed Weapon, and FTA on FTA on Criminal Citation. Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
