The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department’s (OPRD) All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) grant subcommittee will hold a business meeting Sept. 23, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the United State Forest Service Willamette N.F. Office, 46375 OR-58 in Westfir. The subcommittee will introduce a new ATV Committee member, discuss committee membership and the ATV program’s future, and provide updates on recently passed legislation including Senate Bill 344. The ATV Grant Program provides funding statewide for off-highway vehicle recreation. Grant funds come from ATV user permit sales and a percentage of gasoline tax money.
