Town Hall Meeting – Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1 Planned Upgrades, Sept. 26

News release City of Coos Bay.  The City will be holding a Town Hall meeting at Fire Station No. 1, 450 Elrod Avenue, Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 5:30 pm to inform the public of the planning and design efforts for the upgrades of Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1. This presentation will discuss the history of this project, the current condition of the existing plant, challenges that the engineers will need to address during design, the planning steps, and the current goals of the planning and design process. The City has contracted with CH2M Engineers to complete the facility planning process for this project. There will be an opportunity for the public to answer questions and provide input. If you have any concerns, questions, or comments, the City would very much like to coordinate with you.
