The Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division is asking for the public’s help to identify the person(s) responsible for the unlawful taking and wasting of a yearling doe deer in Coos County. On the morning of October 23rd, 2017, OSP Fish and Wildlife Troopers responded to a report of a doe that had been shot and left to waste off of Willanch Lane, outside of North Bend, Oregon. The investigation revealed the doe had been killed the day before, and no effort had been made to salvage any of the meat from the animal. The vehicle pictured was seen in the area at the time of the incident, and is believed to be associated with the person(s) involved.
