A 2.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded at Cape Mendocino in Northern California Tuesday, April 1. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 1:18 p.m., 56-miles west of Eureka, CA where two fault lines begin that eventually run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
