The Coos Bay School District’s nearly $60 million bond measure has officially passed according to Coos Co. Elections officials who released the final official results for the Nov. 7 election, Wednesday, Nov. 22. Ballot Measure 6-166 passed with 28-votes in the unofficial returns. Following a review of the results, they were officially certified with the Yes vote by the same 28-vote margein. The money will be used to construct a new Eastside Elementary School and upgrade many of the other buildings with much needed repairs and renovations.
