OLCC Town Hall Meetings for Entrepreneurs Interested in Selling Distilled Spirits at Retail Portland –The Oregon Liquor Control Commission is hosting two town hall meetings to reach entrepreneurs and business owners interested in applying for a retail liquor store contract in the following counties: Coos, Curry, Douglas, Harney, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Malheur, and Washington. Applications for retail liquor locations in these counties are being accepted December 1, 2017 through February 15, 2018. Open Recruitment of retail liquor store applicants is a statewide initiative to improve the customer shopping experience, optimize revenue for the state, and to keep up with Oregon’s growing population. The market-driven process encourages a variety of retail models including traditional stand-alone stores, incorporating distilled spirits within an existing retail space, boutique outlets, and/or grocery and convenience stores.
