Three earthquakes were recorded near the Cascadia Subduction Zone Wednesday, Dec. 6, including a 2.8-magnitude quake off the Central Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located just west of Florence. The other two were near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. Both were on land. A 3.0 quake south to southwest of Humboldt Hill, CA, and a 2.6-magnitude quake west to northwest of the Rancho Tehama Reserve.
