Public Meeting to Present Planned Upgrades for Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1, Dec. 12

The City is currently underway with planning and designing for the future upgrades for Wastewater Treatment Plant 1 located at 680 Ivy Avenue (WWTP 1).  The City has contracted with CH2M Engineers for this effort.  The City will be holding a public meeting at 5:30 pm at 450 Elrod Avenue Fire Station No. 1 on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 to inform the public of the planning and design efforts to date which will include a brief history of this project, the current condition of the existing plant, the challenges that the engineers have encountered during design, and future planning and design steps. In addition, there will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide input. If you have any concerns, questions, or comments the City would very much like to hear from you.
