Oregon State Police Report, April 8

PCS Meth
A green Ford Taurus, stopped for a moving violation April 1, 11:41 p.m., SR 540 & Wall St., in Coos Bay, led to a drug arrest. According to a report from the Oregon State Police, 50-year old Teresa Lynn Bracamontes was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. “A records check revealed that she was on federal probation. Her probation officer placed a detainer on her.” She was transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

DUII
A gray Toyota Corolla, stopped April 2, 11:20 p.m., Southwest Blvd. & Pennsylvania Ave. in Coos Bay, for speeding (47/25 zone), led to a DUII arrest. According to an OSP report, 18-year old Joshua Earl Joyner, North Bend, “exhibited multiple signs of impairment during that stop.” He consented to and failed a Field Sobriety Test and was transported to CBPD for a breath test, urine test and DRE evaluation. Joyner was cited and released to his grandmother for DWS Misdemeanor, Failure to Return Suspended License and DUII-CS. He was also cited for VBR and Failure to install IID and warned for Smoking in Vehicle with Minors Present. The vehicle was towed.

Marijuana
A dark green Toyota Corolla, with a California license plate, was stopped for speeding while northbound on Hwy. 101 near milepost 235 April 4, 2:26 p.m. According to an OSP report, with the assistance of a K9 unit, approximately two ounces of marijuana and $1,200 in currency were seized. Forty-four year old Patti Diane Damon and 39-year old Spencer Cory Damon, of Macdoel, CA, were cited and released for Unlawful Possession of Over One Ounce of Marijuana.

Warrant
A visibly intoxicated male flagged down an Oregon State Police trooper April 5, 8:47 p.m., in the Chuck’s Seafood parking lot at the Cape Arago Hwy. and Boat Basin Road in Charleston. Twenty-seven year old Anthony Wayne Myers, Coquille, advised the trooper that his ride failed to pick him up. The trooper assisted him with making telephone calls, while Myers identified himself by his first and last name, but couldn’t remember is date of birth. He was able to provide the year, however. A check of his identification revealed an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of DUII. His DMV photo confirmed his identity. During a search of his person, a used syringe was located. He was transported to the County Jail at Coquille, where deputies found a bindle of methamphetamine on him. He was issued a criminal citation and lodged on the possession charge. Myers will also be referred to the DA’s Office for Introducing Contraband into a Correctional Facility.
