Heroin Arrest Douglas Co., Jan. 8

On Thursday afternoon, January 4th, 2018, DINT detectives conducted a traffic stop on I-5 near milepost 129 southbound. This was a targeted stop made on a specific vehicle that was suspected of being in the area for the purpose of trafficking heroin. A search of the vehicle and persons revealed a substantial quantity of heroin, as well as other paraphernalia designed for the use and sale of the drug. A small amount of Methamphetamine was also seized. 59 year old Charles Lee Wilson Jr, of Portland, Oregon was arrested and lodged in the Douglas County Jail on charges of Unlawful Possession of Heroin, Unlawful Delivery of Heroin, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. A passenger in the vehicle was released with no charges.
