Warrant
Cape Arago Hwy. CCSO news release. On February 6th, 2018 at 7:47pm, Coos County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a Dispute in the 91000 block of Cape Arago Highway, Coos Bay. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man and woman arguing near the Old General Store. The caller said the male was Casey Carlson and the woman was 28-year old Desiray Simones, Coos Bay. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center advised the Deputies, both of the parties involved had active warrants out for their arrest. Deputies arrived in the area and attempted to locate Casey and Desiray. After a search of the area, Deputies located Desiray hiding nearby. Deputies were unable to locate Casey. Desiray was taken into custody and transported to the Coos County Jail without incident. Desiray was booked on a two separate warrants. One of the warrants was Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and the other was for a Probation Violation. Desiray’s bail was set at $25,000.00.
Probation Violation
Morrison & Michigan. CCSO news release. On February 7th, 2018 at 01:27 am, a Coos County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputy recognized a man inside the Seven Eleven store in Empire that was on the Detainable List. Deputies were able to locate and make contact with William Patterson. William gave Deputies a false name initially. Deputies were able to confirm his true identity by utilizing the local law enforcement data system. Deputies checked William Patterson through the State and National Database. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center advised Deputies William Patterson was on the Detainable list through the Coos County Community Corrections Office. William Patterson was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Coos County Jail. William Patterson was booked on a single charge of a Probation Violation. William Patterson was held without bail. William Patterson will be referred to the District Attorney’s Office for Giving False Information to a Police Officer. He remains in custody today.
