CCSO report, March 2

Assault
Powers, CCSO release.  On February 28, 2018, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to 800 King Street, Space #3 in the City of Powers for a report of a out of control disorderly male subject. The City of Powers is continuing their search for member(s) to become their full time police force. In the meantime, the Sheriff’s Office is handling emergent calls only. Upon arrival, the responding Deputy observed injuries to the face of the woman making the report. During the Deputy’s investigation, he learned there was a dispute between the victim and her boyfriend, 29-year old Jamison Ullom, Powers, approximately one week prior and the injuries to the woman were sustained during that dispute. Jamison Ullom was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail on one count of Assault IV (Domestic). Ullom is currently held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Stolen Vehicle
Possession of Heroin, CCSO release.  On 02/28/2018 at about 11:45 pm, Coos County deputies observed a stolen vehicle northbound on 4th Street in Coos Bay, Oregon. The deputies initiated a high risk traffic stop on the vehicle and were able to take the driver into custody without incident the unauthorized use of a vehicle. While conducting the arrest pat down search of 57-year old Michael R. Wright’s, Coos Bay, person, the deputy located suspected heroin and a fake identification card. Mr. Wright was taken into custody and was transported to the County Jail where he was booked and lodged. In an inventory search of Mr. Wright in booking two more baggies with suspected meth and heroin were located on Mr. Wright. The suspected narcotics will be submitted to the Oregon State Police for testing.
