North Bend’s baseball team downed visiting Cottage Grove 10-0 in six inning in a non-league game at Clyde Allen Field in North Bend Monday. The Bulldogs (3-0) play at the Yaquina Baseball Classic at Newport beginning Tuesday against the Cubs, 5 p.m.

Marshfield beat North Valley 11-1 in six innings at the Hidden Valley Tournament in Southern Oregon Monday. The Pirates opened the tourney with a 23-1 loss to Cascade. The Pirates (2-4) play Cottage Grove today at 2:30 p.m.
