Oregon & Oregon State Sports, April 21

UO sb
The Oregon softball team remains unfazed by its No. 1 national ranking.  Even if the Ducks weren’t quite at their best early, Oregon closed out a three-game sweep of Cal with a 7-2 victory Saturday at Howe Field. The Ducks (40-5, 14-1 Pac-12) remained unbeaten in six games as the country’s top-ranked team, using a four-run sixth inning to break open the game.

OSU sb
The Oregon State softball team’s seventh-inning rally came up just short, as the Beavers (13-26, 3-13) fell to No. 2 UCLA 10-8 Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles.  The Beavers will return to OSU Softball Complex for their final home conference series of the season, as they host Washington with a series that will begin on Friday.

Pac-12 bb
Oregon swept visiting Washington State in a Pac-12 baseball series in Eugene this past weekend.  The Ducks (31-10, 10-5 Pac-12) won the final game, Saturday, 2-1, over the Cougars (17-19, 7-8 Pac-12).
