Water quality complaints within the Glasgow community on the north side of the McCullough Bridge out of North Bend has led the Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board to investigate. According to a news release for the CB-NB Water Board, samples of water were collected and submitted to a laboratory for analysis. “Following collection of samples, the Glasgow system will be flushed and resampled based on the results of today’s samples.” The news release was dated, Monday, April 21, 2014. “As a precaution, the Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board advises that customers in the Glascow community to not use municipal water for cooking or drinking until the Water Board advises the water quality issue is resolved. The advisory only affects the Glascow community.”
