Marshfield’s boys finished ninth (712) at the OSAA 4A State Golf Championships at Eagle Crest near Redmond Tuesday. Valley Catholic (630) won, and Klamath Union’s Craig Ronne won with a two-day total of 134 (-6 under par), 12-strokes ahead of second place Carter Lee (146), of Tillamook. Seniors Dhiren Charitar & Justin Banks led the Pirates. Both shot a 173 and tied for 24th. Senior Jake Gerhardt (178) tied for 32nd, and Luke Inskeep (190) 45th, and Kanyon Kohl (197) tied for 47th. Bandon won the 3A/2A/1A and Tiger freshman Scotty Kennon was the individual winner.
