The northern end of two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast shook for the second straight day. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.1-magnitude quake occurred at 5:01 a.m., Thursday, April 24, about 55-miles south of Port Hardy, Canada. And, a 4.0-magnitude quake followed at 10:12 p.m., 79-miles south of Masset, Canada. Three other quakes occurred in the area the day before.
