According to an annual report from the Oregon Medical Examiner’s Office regarding drug-related deaths in the state in 2013, Coos County had eight. Two were caused by Heroin and six by Methamphetamines. Multnomah County, the Portland area, led the state with 102 deaths, 65 by Heroin, nine by Cocaine, 45 by Meth, and 18 by a Combination of drugs.
