NB Planning Commission Decision, June 21

RE: APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, REQUEST TO MODIFY EXISTING CONDITIONAL SCHOOL USE TO INCLUDE A NEW TRADES CENTER CLASSROOM BUILDING IN THE RESIDENTIAL ZONE (R-7). The City Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their regular meeting on Monday, June  18,  2018 in the City Hall Council Chambers. The applicant presented the proposal.  No person spoke in favor of nor in opposition to the proposal. Action: The Commission closed the hearing and voted unanimously (5-0) to APPROVE the application based on the information presented by the applicant and the responses and findings in the Staff Report and proposed Final Order, subject to the following conditions: New off-street parking areas shall comply with off-street parking and loading standards set forth in Chapter 18.68 NBCC. The applicant shall obtain an approved parking lot permit to verify compliance. The applicant/property owner shall obtain a building permit and final inspection for the Trades Center Classroom Building in accordance with Chapter 15.04 NBCC, Building Codes. By signature of the Planning Commission Chair, the proposed Final Order is now the official Final Order of Planning Commission in Case File No. CUP 3-18.
