The Lane County Sheriff’s Office has identified and arrested a second suspect in connection with the robbery that occurred off Northill Ranch Road in Lane County on June 13, 2018. Sheriff’s Office detectives contacted 18 year old Daniel Cole Carter yesterday afternoon and arrested him on three counts of Robbery in the first degree, two counts of Assault in the second degree, and one count of Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Carter was lodged in the Lane County Jail and was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday. 21 year old Dylan Haines was arrested in June 15th in connection with the robbery and at that time, the identity of Carter was unknown. The Sheriff’s Office is still searching for the third suspect in this case, identified as 18 year old Daniel Hoeve-Chavez of Eugene. Anyone who has information on Hoeve-Chavez’s location is asked to contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4141. Community members are urged not to approach or attempt to apprehend Hoeve-Chavez.
