On August 8, 2018 at approximately 11:43am, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a multi-vehicle fatality crash involving a farm implement on SR-201N near milepost 20. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2002 John Deere Tractor pulling a large oversized farm implement, operated by Hector Garduno Dominguez (54) of Weiser, Idaho was traveling southbound on SR-201N near milepost 20. Allan Garrison (83) of Weiser, Idaho was traveling northbound on SR-201N near milepost 20 in a 2013 white Ford F150 pickup when he struck the farm implement that was partially in the northbound lanes of travel. The implement peeled open the driver’s side of the Ford pickup causing serious injuries to Garrison’s left arm. Garrison was later transported by ambulance to St. Alphonsus in Ontario for treatment of his injuries. Martin Holden (19) of Northport, WA was traveling northbound behind the white Ford pickup in a white 1999 Honda Accord when the first crash occurred. The Honda and the implement collided. Holden suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene. ODOT had SR-201N closed with detours in place for nearly 4.5 hours.
