A 47-year old Brookings man was rescued Friday morning, Aug. 17, after the fully-loaded log truck he was operating east of the Curry Co. community, lost control on Gardner Ridge Road and crashed into trees. Emergency responders needed two-hours to extricate Brandon Campbell from the crushed cab. He was flown to a hospital in Grants Pass where he was reportedly alert and coherent.
