Oregon’s volleyball team got a split at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge at Stanford, CA. The Ducks beat Minnesota 3-1 on Friday, but fell 3-0 to Penn State on Saturday. Oregon (5-3) heads to the Islands this week with matches Thursday, 10 p.m., against Hawaii, and Friday, 10 p.m., against the Rainbows again in Honolulu, HI. Oregon State went 2-1 at the K-State Invitations in Manhattan, KS. The Beavers beat Omaha Friday, 3-0, but lost later to Kansas State 3-1. On Saturday, Oregon State downed North Texas 3-0. OSU (6-2) heads to the SOSU/USD Challenger in San Diego Friday, Sept. 14, to play UTEP, noon, and San Diego State, 6 p.m. On Saturday, the Beavers take on San Diego, 3 p.m.
