A 3.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded at the Southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Friday, Oct. 12. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Ferndale, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Sunday morning, Oct. 14, a 2.5-magnitude earthquake was recorded west of Crescent City, CA. Two more quakes were recorded at the Southern end early Monday morning, a 2.6-magnitude west to northwest of Petrolia, CA, and a 2.9 west of Humboldt Hill, CA.
