Officer respond/report taken UEMV, Theft II, Criminal Mischief II, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and ID Theft.” At 10:48 a.m., 2800 block Cedar St., “RP reported her vehicle was entered overnight and her DL & Chevron credit card was stolen. RP was recalled and advised the card had not been used / DL entered stolen .” At 12:30 p.m., 1700 block 14th St., “RP reported her vehicle was entered sometime overnight, request it be logged for info only at this time.” At 10:14 p.m., 3300 block Virginia Ave., “RP reports UEMV where her purse was stolen from her vehicle. Report taken, RP will turn in a list of items taken. She has already cancelled her bank cards. Oregon driver’s license entered LEDS.”
Threat
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, May 7, 2400 block Oak St., “RP called 911 reference a threatening phone call from someone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House, female stated there was someone with a sniper rifle point at her house. RP has been receiving scam calls all day from out of the country. Officer responded and assisted with information reference scams and the suspicious circumstances.”
