Former Coos Bay resident Jennifer Groth was recognized as the Citizen of the Year during the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards banquet Jan. 26th at the Mill Hotel in North Bend. Groth served on the City Council and was past president of Zonta. She also headed the BACC’s Tourism Committee. Business of the Year honors went to Seven Devils Brewing of Coos Bay.
