On Tuesday, May 27th at 6 pm, Bay Area Hospital and OSU Extension Family & Community Health are presenting a 2-hour seminar on the role of chronic inflammation in the development of diseases like diabetes, heart disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and Crohn’s disease. This is an encore presentation of the seminar held last month for those who were unable to attend. This free seminar features four local specialists: Coquille Valley surgeon Dr Greg Saunders, Registered Nurse Linda Hicks, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Stephanie Polizzi, and Certified Massage Therapist, Sarah Hicks. Topics will help you understand inflammation and practical strategies to help put out the fire within. Class will be held at the Community Health Education Center at 3950 Sherman Ave in North Bend.
