BLM release – North Bend, Ore. – On April 2, more than 100 Reedsport and Elkton elementary school students will participate in the 73rd annual Lower Umpqua Tree Plant. Fifth and sixth grade students will learn about forest management while planting Douglas-fir seedlings, thus connecting kids to public lands and America’s natural heritage.
