Over 225 coaches and family members were honored Saturday, May 24th at the 2014 Oregon Athletic Coaches Association “Coach of the Year” Banquet. The banquet was highlighted by the presentation of NFHS Section 8 Coach of the Year and Oregon Coach of the Year Award winners. Eight $1000 scholarships were also presented to graduating sons and daughters of OACA members. Special awards presented to two Bay Area individuals: OACA Media Award–Tim Trower, Medford Mail Tribune & John Gunther, The World-Coos Bay; OACA Community Service Awared–Greg Mulkey, Marshfield HS.
