Theft II, April 16

Cape Arago Hwy., CCSO report – On April 13, 2019, at approximately 10:48 AM, Coos County Sheriff Deputies were notified of a dispute between two females at 91135 Cape Arago Highway in Coos Bay. When Deputies arrived at the scene, one female was holding a second female in a headlock on the ground. The Deputies separated the two parties and began to question each female involved. The female who was being held down identified herself as Alejandra Salcedolozeau. After being told she was not free to leave, and upon the request of a warrant check of Alejandra, Alejandra attempted to flee the crime scene on foot. A Deputy gave chase and caught Alejandra a short distance later while Alejandra was attempting to enter a trailer at Seaport RV Park in Charleston. While the Deputy was attempting to detain Alejandra, Alejandra continued to try to enter the trailer as well as pull away from the Deputy. After a brief struggle, the Deputy was able to detain Alejandra without further incident. After an investigation, it was determined Alejandra Salcedolozeau had stolen a purse from the other female involved. In an attempt to regain her property, the other female held down Alejandra until Deputies arrived on scene. While struggling to hold Alejandra, it was discovered that Alejandra bit the female in the hand, causing injury. Subsequently, Alejandra was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail for an active warrant, theft in the second degree, assault in the fourth degree, escape in the third degree and resisting Arrest.
