Crewmember medically evacuated by Coast Guard boat crew near La Push, WA, May 22

USCG release – SEATTLE — A Coast Guard boat crew medically evacuated a man reportedly suffering from abdominal pain while aboard a fishing vessel 25 miles west of La Push, WA, Tuesday, May 21. A Coast Guard Station Neah Bay boat crew safely medevac’d the injured crew member from the 353-foot fishing vessel Excellence onto their 47-foot Motor Lifeboat and then transferred him to awaiting local Emergency Medical Service personnel on shore. Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound watchstanders received a request for medical assistance at 2:58 p.m. The man’s condition is unknown at this time.
