Quake at Cape Mendocino, June 9

A 2.7-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Sunday, June 8, where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 5:27 p.m., 35-milkes southwest of Eureka, CA.
