Warrant Arrest
Lakeside, CCSO release – On June 19, 2019, at approximately 3:39 PM, A Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy was notified of a man shoplifting from 200 S. 8th Street (McKay’s Market) in Lakeside. It was reported the man had a non-confirmed warrant out of Linn County, Oregon. When the Deputy arrived, he discovered the man sitting in a back room at McKay’s Market with a loss prevention employee. The Deputy ran a record check on the man through Dispatch and was informed 39-year-old Jermey Harris had an outstanding warrant out of Linn County, Oregon for a probation violation. Jermey was detained on site. Dispatch informed the Deputy they had confirmation from Linn County and Linn County wished to extradite Jermey. Subsequently, Jermey R. Harris was arrested on his active warrant and transported to the Coos County Jail. Jermey R. Harris will be held for the probation violation pending extradition to Linn County, Oregon.

Warrant Service
Lakeside, CCSO release – On June 19, 2019 at approximately 8:44 PM a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the Dollar General convenience store located in the city of Lakeside for a report of suspicious circumstances involving a motorhome. The Deputy contacted the occupants of the motorhome, one of whom was identified as 29 year old Ashley M. Pirtle from North Bend. An investigation revealed Ashley had a valid outstanding warrant from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office charging her with failing to appear on the original charge of failing to carry and present a drivers license. The warrant was confirmed through the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office who requested Ashley be extradited to their jurisdiction. Ashley was placed under arrest and transported to the Coos County Jail without incident.
