Geotechnical Investigations, June 10

The City of Coos Bay has authorized SHN Engineering to perform geotechnical investigations for the proposed pipeline associated with Plant 2.  The pipeline is proposed to extend 4.5 miles from Plant 2 (100 Fulton Avenue) to Plant 1 (1420 Ivy Avenue).  A geotechnical crew will be performing investigations from June 10th through June 20th.  The work will take place along the route at various locations.  The proposed route has been attached. The geotechnical crew will take all precautions and necessary actions to minimize the disturbance to surrounding residences and vehicles. There may be traffic delays throughout the project as necessary; however, where required, flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic starting at 7:00a m to 6:00 pm.
