Charleston, CCSO release – On June 25, 2019 at 1421 hours, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of deceased female located off of Alaska Packers Way in Charleston, Oregon. Alaska Packers Way is the roadway that creates the protective jetty around the Charleston Marina. Citizens had located a deceased female in the rocks of the jetty entering the Marina. The death was determined to be an accidental death by the Coos County Medical Examiner. The deceased female did not possess any identification on her person. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding the identity of the female. The deceased female is 55 to 60 years of age, approximately 5’-3” in height, 160 lbs in weight, short grey hair, no tattoos, wearing distinctive jewelry. At the time of her discovery the deceased female was wearing Nike running shoes gray in color, black pants, and a blue hooded sweat shirt with the Winnie-the-Pooh character “Eeyore” depicted on it.
