Rogue River Drowning, June 11

A 38-year old female drowned on the South Oregon Coast Monday, June 9.  According to the Curry Co. Sheriff’s Office, Cherie Jarnigan was attempting to retrieve a Frisbee from the Rogue River when she was swept into the water.  She was eventually pulled from the river, transported to a hospital in Gold Beach where she was pronounced deceased.
