Damaged Excavator & Cat
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 06-08-2014 at about 0625 hours, Cary Arnott from Rock Point Logging called the Coos County Sheriff’s Office to report three subjects had damaged an Excavator and a D8 Caterpillar at the logging site accessed from Marine Way north of North Bend. Sheriff’s Deputies responded along with the Sheriff’s Office K9. As the result of the investigation and the K9 track, Dennis Inglis, age 48 of North Bend and Nicholas Libby, age 31of Aloha Oregon were located arrested for UUV, UEMV and Criminal Mischief I. Both subjects were transported and lodged at the Coos County Jail. Both subjects are being held in lieu of $60.000.00 bail. Damage done to property at the logging site was in excess of $15,000. The investigation is still on-going and the Sheriff’s Office is still looking to identify the 3rd suspect.
