A couple of minor earthquakes shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Thursday, June 12. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.6-mangitude quake occurred at 7:55 a.m., seven-miles south of Laytonville, and a 2.5-magnitude quake occurred at 8:25 a.m., 16-miles south to southeast of Eureka, CA.
