Head coach Kelly Graves has announced a challenging non-conference slate in 2019-20 for the Oregon women’s basketball team. The non-conference schedule is highlighted by a game at UConn on Feb. 3 and a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam over Thanksgiving. Out of the Ducks’ 12 total non-conference opponents, five were NCAA Tournament teams a year ago. No. 2 seed UConn joined the Ducks in the Final Four last season, losing to Notre Dame. No. 1 seed Louisville eliminated Oregon State in the Sweet 16 before falling to UConn in the Elite Eight. No. 6 seed South Dakota State upset No. 3 seed Syracuse in the second round of the tournament but lost to the Ducks in the Sweet 16 in Portland. No. 9 seed Kansas State stumbled in the opening round. Oregon opens the 2019-20 season at home on Nov. 11 against Northeastern, the first of three straight home games. After a road game at Syracuse on Nov. 24, UO will head straight to the Paradise Jam to play Oklahoma State, UT Arlington and Louisville. UO hosts South Dakota State on Dec. 8 before visiting Long Beach State on Dec. 14. The Ducks then return home for three straight games to close out the calendar year. After an exhibition game against Corban on Dec. 28, Oregon opens Pac-12 play the weekend of Jan. 3-5, with Colorado and Utah visiting Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks are still finalizing details of a special season-opening exhibition game which will be announced at a later date. The lower level of Matthew Knight Arena is sold out for the 2019-20 season. Reserved season tickets are still being sold in the upper level for just $119. Single-game tickets will go on sale after the Pac-12 portion of the 2019-20 schedule is released.
