It was a shootout from the git-go, but the Cowboys of Oklahoma State had more bullets in thier holster than the Oregon State Beavers in a 52-36, 2019 collegiate football opener for both teams Friday night at Reser Stadium in Corvallis. OSU (0-1) plays at Hawaii on Saturday, Sept. 7 in Honolulu. The University of Oregon also lost its opener, but on the road Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX to Auburn 27-21. The Ducks led most of the game, but squandered opportunities for more scores early. Oregon (0-1) hosts Nevada, Saturday, Sept. 7, 4:30 p.m., at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
