According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, June 19, 6:52 a.m., 1800 block Virginia Ave., “attempt to locate wanted subject,” 42-year old Timothy Wayne Ashmus, transient, arrested on NBPD warrant charging UEMV, Theft III and Criminal Trespass II. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, June 20, 6:13 p.m., 2000 block Newmark St., Public Square Shopping Center, “RP reports theft of prescription medication from a backpack suspects are in the bushes by Public Square Court, male and female with white Chihuahua. Officers responded, recovered victim’s property and he does not wish to pursue charges.” Forty-two yea rold Karen Mousseau, transient, arrested on NBPD warrant charging Possession of Meth. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille and both suspects warned for Theft and Officer Littering.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, June 21, 12:44 a.m., 400 block Virginia Ave., “CNB Security advised male subject tan Carhart jacket and blue pants inside of Kyle Electrict, unknown if he has permission to be there or not.” Forty-four year old Mickey Morkert, Coos Bay, arrested on Deschutes Co. warrant charging Contempt of Court, five-counts of Contempt of Court and an additional charge of Criminal Trespass II. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Building was secured.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, June 21, 11:49 a.m., Boyton Park, “male pushing stroller with infant stumbling, possibly intoxicated. Subject contacted. Child released to responsible adult.”
