Highway paving underway in Reedsport, Sept. 26

ODOT release – REEDSPORT – Paving work will require several nights of intermittent lane closures along Oregon 38 and U.S. 101 in Reedsport starting Wednesday night, Sept. 25. Prime contractor Knife River Materials is scheduled grind and pave the downtown area of Oregon 38 through Thursday night, Sept. 26. This area extends from the U.S. 101 junction to 3rd Street. Additional paving work is scheduled in this area on Monday and Tuesday nights next week. No parking will be permitted in these areas from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. each night. On Friday night, paving work is scheduled in the area of U.S. 101 and 22nd Street. Motorists should expect lane closures and delays. Flaggers will provide traffic control as needed.
