Coos Bay Sanitary Sewer Repair, June 25

The City of Coos Bay has authorized Benny Hempstead Excavating, Inc. to perform a sewer line replacement project along N 4th Street between Highland Avenue and Market Avenue.  This line is badly damaged due to its age, and it is in need of replacement to help ensure the sewer line is in good working conditions for years to come. This work will require street closures and detours for the duration of the project.  This portion of N 4th Street along with a portion of Highland Avenue from N 4th Ct to N 4th Street will be closed for safety reasons starting June 23, 2014 through July 1, 2014.  The will be no on street parking on N 4th Street between Highland Avenue and Market Avenue starting Monday June 23, 2014 until the project has been completed.  Any questions can be directed to the City of Coos Bay Public Works Department.  The telephone number for the department is (541) 269-8918.
