Ashland’s boys won the 5A Midwestern League District Cross Country Championship at Springfield Wednesday. Evan Holland of Ashland was the overall winner in 15:39.8. North Bend’s boys placed fourth with 115 points. Bulldog freshman Alexander Garcia-Silver placed sixth in 16:17.8. Crater won the girl’s race with North Bend fourth. Senior Presley Robison, Crater, was the winner in 19:01.5, while junior Celeste Sinko placed 11th in 20:42.3.
