Marshfield senior Aaron Prince punched his ticket to the OSAA 4A State Cross Country Championships Nov. 9 in Eugene after he finished third overall at the District 4 Championships Thursday at Lane CC in Eugene. Prince was timed in 16:34.20 on the 5k course, while senior Wiley Watts, Marist Catholic, won in 16:11.60. Freshman Jaden Owens, Cottage Grove, placed second in 16:33.50. Siuslaw won the boy’s team title with 37-points, Marist Catholic was second with 38. Marshfield tallied 86. On the girl’s side, Siuslaw also won by a point over Marist Catholic 32 to 33, while Marshfield was third with 91. Senior Kaylee Delzotti led the Lady Pirates with a 12th place finish.
